Saladin Dellers

I love it when it hurts – not in real life, but in the work.
 I’m not looking for roles that are easy or comfortable. I’m drawn to the ones that scratch the surface, that shake something up – in me and in the audience. Most of the characters I’ve played weren’t smooth or charming. They had edges. They were fragile, strange, sometimes mentally unstable, sometimes just... different. That’s not a typecasting. That’s an invitation. To take them seriously. To explore. To resist simplification.

I work in theatre, film, and I write screenplays. I’m fascinated by the line between fiction and reality – and what happens when that line starts to blur.
 I like bold choices. I like when things feel like they could go wrong. And I love working in teams that are ready to take risks – to go deep, honest, and sometimes uncomfortable.

I trained in Graz and have worked in Berlin, Zurich, Vienna and beyond. I perform in German (including Swiss German), English, French and Spanish. I’m not climbing a career ladder – I’m looking for real encounters.
