Melissa Lischer

Melissa Lischer, born in 1986 in Basel (CH), is Swiss and Cameroonian. In her youth, Melissa participated in school theater and early on discovered her talent for singing and music. She went on to perform with the renowned "Big Band Föhn" from Lucerne (2002-2010), gaining valuable stage experience. She completed a singing course at the Jazz School Lucerne in 2005 and also underwent dance training with the Matchless Dancers as an animation and show dancer (2006-2008). Since 2011, she has been signed as a singer/songwriter with profimusic, releasing an album and various singles. She completed her acting at the Drama Academy Switzerland in Olten in 23/24. 2023 she gained her first experiences as an extra on the set of "Tschugger" Season 3 directed by David Constantin, as well as participating in the film "HELDIN" directed by Petra Volpe (2024). She also had supporting roles in the short films "Eldur" (2024) and "Water Horn" (2024). She was also seen in the lead role in the play "1857 - Ein Herbst ohne Gnade" in Vokeltswil ZH directed by Susanna Zachar (2024). In her free time, you can find her climbing indoors and outdoors, hiking in the mountains, or surfing.
